Hi guys, was thinking of running some kind of cleaner in with the feul. I was seeking advice before just going to halfords and spending £20 for nothing and potentially causing damage. It's a Megane 1.5dci, I recently had a leaking injector seal and the state of the injector was hideous.

Any help, suggestions and advice very much welcome :)

There is a recent thread about this, but the conclusion is that it's all 'in the eye of the user' whether there is a benefit. In any case it isn't a quick fix, it's a long term solution it seems.

So, don't spend £20 at Halfords when you can get it for less, anywhere, or it will cost you more than having the injectors serviced after a while.

as said it s no good for a leak
but my van about 5 years ago failed on emissions i went to my local motor factors and asked for some redex they had none when i told them what it was for they said use this and i cant remember the name anyway you put it in when you have 1/4 of a tank or less take the car for a 20 mile run so i did took it back for a retest the next day and it passed with flying colours
if i am passing during the week i will find out the name

It sounds great, but the name Archoil sounds like snakeoil to me.:d

If I read it right, you need to use it every 1-2k miles, which is going to get pricey.

If you try it, tell us how you get on. There is a no quibble guarantee, so should be a good bet.
