Hi Renault people, I need your help!!

Got a Kangoo 99 'T' 1.9, had trouble 2 months ago when driving, felt like the handbrake was pulled on and engine started pinking. Took it to Renault, they fitted a new diesel computer and adjusted fuel settings (£737, nice....).

Since the weather has cooled off a bit!, in the morning, the van turns over and over pumping out lots of Blue smoke, eventually flattening the battery.
If I turn it over for approx 20 secs, then leave it for 10-15 mins then try again, usually it will fire with a lot of Blue smoke. Once it has started, no problems all day, runs fine, starts fine, no smoke????

Van has done 105K with FSH.

I don't want to take back to Renault because they will say that its something else other than the guaranteed work they did 2 months ago¬!!

HELP!!

Cheers MadNoel10!

Following MadNoel10's advice, ordered x4 plugs and only managed to change 2 so far (trying to find how to remove airfilter box). The van now starts better than it's ever done!! I presume 1 of the 2 plugs I changed had gone down.

Cheers once again, happy smoke free starting days!!!:)

Hi SteveyCC - removing the airfilter box.... you need to get under the van and reach up behind the back of the engine with a 10mm quarter inch socket and rachet there are two nuts to undo one on each side of the underside of the filer box, together with the two easy to access ones under the bonnet. Hope this helps! all the best. J
