Really need advice

Just bought a Clio 07 plate from a garage. Came with 12 months not and a service. It was great until I got it home. The toxic fume filter warning light is flashing. Do I ask the garage to fix it or ask for my money back. Right now I am at my wits end.

Re: Really need advice

Hi, did you get a warranty when you purchased this car? if yes, you will have to check what it covers, i would say take the car back & tell them nicely that you are not happy with your purchase as it's not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Sale and Supply of Goods Act.
I think accept the repair they will offer you.
Don't worry, it will get sorted.

Re: Really need advice

Thanks chuffed. It's the fact they sold me this car with the fault on they must have known it was faulty. I am feeling quite peeved off at the moment. I will ring them tomorrow.
