Renault Scenic II 2004 1.4 Petrol.Stall Problems

Had my car to the garage the other day.Had a new TDC sensor fitted to see if my stall problems would alleviate.Mechanic ran diagnostics,no fault codes came up but he still fitted the sensor.Since he's done that my car is stalling every time I get to a junction!Start back up 1st or second time but it's getting embarrassing.I know nothing about cars.I'm at a loss as to what it could be.Someone suggested fuel filter and air filter.I can't even find the fuel filter! Can anyone let me know where it is please?Could it be an old fuel filter causing this problem? All help appreciated .Thankyou.

It's more likely to be another sensor at fault. Does your engine stall all the time at every junction? Is it same whether engine hot or cold? What rpm does your engine idle at presently? Is the idle steady or fluctuating?

Don't take without giving in return

No faults came up on diagnostics. It gets slightly better if engine is warm but mostly stalls at junctions. It doesn't idle now.As soon as I take my foot off the accelarator,it will cut out.

If this is occurring or got worse since new TDC fitted, check the sensor is fitted correctly.
I've seen some which are angled and hence don't read right.

Else any problems on lack of power or uneven running?

No other probs with the car. Power still there once up and running just have noticed if it stalls now, when restarting there could be a slight 'chug/jolt' and it may fail to kick up,then I have to press the ignition button, and it will start up the next time.
