hi, iam new to this forum, and thank you if you can help me. i have problem with loosing power at up hill, my car is laguna 2 1.9 dci, 6 speed, year 2003, engine code F9Q 752,
on clip it show fault code DF325, can you help me to know what does meant this code
Its your egr valve,,, but what was the code that was with it
CC.1: Short circuit to + 12 V,,.CO.0: Open circuit or short circuit to earth
1.DEF: Negative loop deviation,....: 2.DEF: Positive loop deviation
3.DEF: Negative loop deviation,,,,,: 4.DEF: Positive loop deviation
Have you reset the egr to your car,, (any other fault codes)
Disconnect your EGR, start your car rev it to 2500 rpm, allow to idle do it 4 more times, on the last one, allow to idle, switch engine off. Remove card, get out lock the car..
Allow a couple of minutes for all electrics on the car to switch down/off.
Open the car, bonnet up,, dont put key card in the reader..
Reconnect the egr, start the car, take it for a run. see if the ecu will accept the new settings...
thanks again ours2012, no other fault code, iam clean egr fault with clip, and now iam do this what you say, but nothing, and iam swap another friends maf, map, turbo solenoid, all injectors, and turbo itself are new, but no luck with this problem
Whats up with your car,,,,
Not an ideal way to play parts darts,,..
Have you reconfigured the EGR with clip... there are more settings than just clearing faults........
Post your vehicle type, let me see if I can find correct procedure through clip..
Not a scooby of me remembering it, (dont even try anymore, store enough useless knowledge trying to remember good jokes)
its renault laguna 1.9 dci, year 2003, 6 speed gearbox, engine code f9q 752, it have turbo without variable geometry, and no iam not reconfigured EGR with clip, i didnt know how...
Hi ours2012 i tried reprogramation it today with one friend which works at renault service, and it say egr is good. can you help me what another thing can cause this low power at low rpm, iam sure you know much more than my friend which works at renault service thank you again for your help, iam telling iam tried lot of parts and no one fix this problem, i dont know what to do now
Sorry for my english, maybe iam writing wrong some words.
Dont worry about your English, we wont...
Your car, is it blowing black smoke out when accelerating.....
You have checked the brakes are not binding, especially the rear ones....
Have you checked turbo is working..
Not as easy as it sounds, but take the pipe off, start the car, see if it is spinning up inside eyes only, dont put anything near it especially your fingers..
See if it is spinning and not stopping after a certain rev.
Did you recode injectors back in...
Iam put new turbo 3 months before but nothing, same problem. And injectors tested at renault service it says it using code and are fine, no knock no noise
Can I ask you this again, have you coded the injectors in, you say you have changed them, are the codes stored in the ECU the same as in the engine, and number 1 being at the gearbox end..
Cannot count how many times I have seen this on all makes of cars over the years.
Minute injectors are Mentioned I GO and check the numbers match the positions that the ecu states.
I never trust what the ecu reports with numbers, unless I have checked on the injectors.......
Half an hour check, well worth it
Write injector numbers down off the injectors, phone on camera works well for this then zoom,,
Remember No 1 Is Gearbox End, so if it comes back as being in No 4 then injectors coded in to ECU but in the wrong position.
All capitals for coding, so dont forget caps key. Do one at a time, switch off..
Allow at least a minute between each go, and it will work first time.
Trying four at once, chances are ECU will not accept the codes
I dont know how to code, but my friend which work at service tell me that injectors using code YES at clip, please tell me how to check and how to code, i didnt know no what do my friend at service code or no i didnt know, but i can go and tell what you say, or do by myself if you tell me how to code injectors
Using codes, and being correct are not the same....
Left hand side of the screen, you should see an icon that looks like two halves that will click together.. not that many icons, just click on each one in turn,, but it is there,,,.
Click this, and something like enter codes, will come up..
Follow on screen commands,,,,,
Again, will point out No 1 gearbox end, on a 1.9 dci
Thnx ours2012 again, i will try this what you say, hope to solve the problem, by the way what symptoms can do not codet injectors, i hear 1.9 dci dont need to code injectors, sorry for my questions about this but iam try everything and hope with your help to solve this problem
Some of the DCI's dont use codes, but if your injector ECU is stating its using codes then these need to be the correct ones...
Can happen by replacing original injectors . but in the wrong position/cylinder
Some injectors can over fuel, others can under fuel, if not coded in.
under fuel, could be why no power, Injectors dont know how long to stay open.
Hi, iam recode injectors, check brakes again, no improvement with power its same as before, and my friend check exhaust for cloged or something but its not, didnt know what to try now!!
Can you post a picture of the small hoses going to the turbo solenoid, and the large black vacuum canister fastened at the back of your inlet manifold..
When accelerating hard going up hill, any faults on the dash coming up (check injection)
