Hi batfink5,

I have search in google and online-sell-parts, like "buycarparts.co.uk" or "onlinecarparts.co.uk", ...
and fine very high brand! with different prices...

I find following brand and price:

FEBI BILSTEIN 52£
MEYLE 108£
SASIC 38£
DELPHI 44£
MAPCO 48£
FORTUNE LINE 31£
CORTECO 81£
LEMFÖRDER 46£
RUVILLE 33£
TOPRAN 25£
SWAG 44£
VAICO 48£
METZGER 62£

I am confusing! :surprise:
I don't know which brand or company is better in quality.

Thanks.

Like All companies Renault have an approved supplier list. For instance Valeo for Clutches, Delphi for Injection, TRW & (i forget) for brakes. There are instances of aftermarket suppliers putting Oriental Kit in Renault boxes, or orientals copying said boxes too.
THE ONLY WAY to get a guaranteed good part is from Renault, as their suppliers are quality controlled.
Honestly, would you buy a Fortune Line one?

Dear Nottnoc,

Sorry for my questions, because my information about that is small.
1. for example, about my problem,
if I buy one upper engine mount from Renault Dealer,
in box of that typed name of company that produced that, for example: produced by Delphi ???
or just typed Renault Group?

2. I don't understand this: "Honestly, would you buy a Fortune Line one?"
Do you offer "Fortune Line" brand for my problem with "upper engine mount" compared with other brands?

Thanks!

Most companies out source their part from others ..just because it purchased for Renault does not mean its made by renault..and that is fact..:smile2: when it came to purchasing parts for my cars the dealer was the last place I would be looking at because on price alone they are well over priced....

Seem to be going round in circles here.

Only way to guarantee an approved, Original Equipment Quality part is from the car maker, Renault.

Then it's reputable spare parts suppliers.
Who will usually only stock good make OEM quality parts but have been known to be caught by fakes

Then it's online.
Which means you could be buying any old rubbish in a fake box.

Let me expand on my answer..on my clio 2011 coil and leads original equipment on there..makers name Beru made in Germany..:smile2: and I am sure if I had gone through other parts on that car I would have found many parts on that car also were not made in france..

BERU® is a Registered Trademark of BorgWarner BERU Systems GmbH..

Dear Dancingdad,

I know Renault Dealer is Only way to guarantee,
but you accept parts that Renault selling, produce by this list of compaines like Delphi, lemforder,Meyle and ...
And My question is which Brand Company is better than in quality(without important price)...

because I bought one engine mount before and quality of that was not good,
and because I have a problem(vibration) with my car,
as a result, I prefer to buy a part that its quality is excellent, with don't No doubt, even price be higher...

Thanks.

Dear batfink5,

you are right,
but I need to know best quality even very more than Renault Dealer quality!
Renault maybe Order to some companies to produce one part with normal quality, because of normal and competition price...
but maybe there is one company that produce parts with very excellent quality but with higher no competition price!
I want to know Based on the knowledge and experience of you and other friends,
which brands have excellent parts in the field of Engine Mount.

Thanks.

When Renault or any other maker specify a part for a car, they produce a full specification.
Drawing, critical dimensions, materials, quality checks required.
They only accept parts that match that spec.
Doesn't matter whether tis Delphi or Bosch or AN Other, the parts will be of the quality specified.
None will make a part of better quality as that will cost money they will not be paid for.
So it doesn't matter which, only that it is an OEM part and maker.

Your problem is that if you buy a part, supposedly from one of those makers, unless you buy from a totally trustworthy source, it may be a fake part.

Dear Dancingdad,

Thanks for your information...

Do you think following website is not trustworthy source?, even if they Claim this part is produced by certain company...
buycarparts.co.uk
onlinecarparts.co.uk
bestpartstore.co.uk
and ...

Do you think there is not any website that sell online trustworthy parts?
And should be purchased parts from Renault Dealer only without No choice?

Thanks.

:grin2:..if you totally strip a car to the sum of all its parts the majority would not be made in France..all manufacturers of cars to a great extent out source parts to other companies..this is why many things go wrong with cars ..its down to quality control and other companies parts..the coil in question was fitted to my clio D4F 1.2 I was having a few problems so out sourced the same parts from micks garage Ireland one of the largest online suppliers of car parts I know of..:smile2:

Lets put this in simple terms

To reduce risk of getting counterfeit parts visit your main Renault dealer ..you may find the part you buy stamped Renault may have been made by Delphi or whoever and stamped Renault but it is the part Renault recommend ....that is the best answer anyone can give
