Hi,
A freind of ours has a 1.4 Renualt clio on a P reg, And the battery went flat, A week later he went out to start it and it just won't start.
He seems to think the immobiliser has kicked in, Is there a way around unimoblilising the vehicle, Or is there any common problems or known faults that any of you members on here have come across?

Thanks in advance.

It may be worth disconnecting the battery earth for
about 30 min then reconnecting it and try again, make
sure you have the side lights on when you do it and the
radio code as the radio will need to have the code entered

No it just resets the ecu and hopefully it may
work, we are not allowed to post ways of defeating
the immobiliser on this forum but others do allow it.

If its a infrared one and it most likely is you should be
able to get a 4 digit code from Renault but they
need proof of ownership and charge think its £10/15
