do it mate ive had trouble with a bent mot station .

bought an escort 13 estate from a reputable garage after about a week found probs with the gearbox was found to be a large crack int box which was replaced .

aweek later had a blowout on the M62 pulled onto hard shoulder to change wheel nuts solid so got out the green flag they go to jack up the car only to find that as the car was jacked up front and back wheels were still touching the floor !.green flag guy had a look under & immediatly refused too alow us to travel in the car loaded us ont trailer & took us to his depot were they got it up on a ramp & found that everthing forward of the front bulkhead was welded on from a different car.
they did a full writen report which we took to the garage they said it came in with a full MOT froma station they new so were puzzled as to how it had got through (we got an immediate replacement thanks green flag after further investigation it turned out staf from the MOT station were buying un registered wright offs cutting & shutting then part exing them at dealers they were never registered in there name so were un tracable !
