Renault Laguna display problems when cold
Just reading your comments on Renault Laguna problems when cold. I have had the same problems the last few days. I have a Renault Laguna Dymanique 1.6 petrol tourer 2001. 61,000 miles.
The last 4 days I have tried to start the car and had all of the warning lights flash and the needles on the dials spin around to max. I disconnected the battery each day and reconnected it and the cars resets itself and all is fine all day until the next morning. This morning it was okay as it was a little warmer.
I took the car to my local dealership and they have told me it need a new instument display. It will cost £470.00 for the part and £116 for labour Total £587.00!.
I would appreciate some advise - can you get second hand instument displays? Could it be a relay problem. It seems strange that it is okay all day and only a problem in the morning when cold.
Look forward to some expert advise
