The light is the engine management warning light and illuminates when the
detects a fault in the system.
To start with,check the vaccuum hose that runs between the
on the bulkhead and the inlet manifold.Any signs of cracks or splits,replace it.
If there are no signs of any problems here,then you'll need to get the
fault codes read.Any decent independant garage can do this as long as they have the right equipment.
