Staying on the subject of speakers, I do not know what Laguna version is being ref here, but mine is a 1998 model laguna, and I was going to replace the stock HU but I like the controls on the steering wheel so changed my mind, however I would like to add a little bass into the rear and have a boxed set of 10" ones I took out of my old car, and a 2 ch amp to drive them, however the stock HU has no pre-outs, so, after reading something in the forum, I thought about getting a high level to rca convertor for the amp.
My question is this.
If I get a convertor, do I simply take a feed from the rear speakers leaving them connected to the head unit and what I end up with is the head unit feeding all standard speakers, with a feed going from the rears to the convertor, into amp etc etc.
or do I take the feed from the rear speakers into the convertor, and simply lose the rear speakers, which would not sound so good?
Here is a drawing I put together, is this right.
