Kangoo diesel 1.5 wet feet and fashing lights

7 days ago I noticed water in the footwell and under the seat
on the drivers side.
I dried it out several times over the next few days.
I left a small towel in each footwell overnight and they came out soaked.

This water appears when we drive.

I investigated the problem as far as I could but there was no obvious reason for this.

The liquid appeared to be water, not antifreeze, not windscreen washing liquid as it had no smell.

Doors and windows were always shut.

We have not been driving through deep water other than that prevalent on normal roads at the moment. I have not been driving through floods.

On Saturday we noticed that several warning lights were displaying on the engine management displayn for a few seconds when accelerating out of a roundabout.

Does the heater system have a closed circuit or is part of the engine coolant system and if it does could the heater system be leaking as these pipes appear come through into the body of the car.

Car mileage 80,000
