Hi Ziggy'
I wish you better luck than me in finding a new second hand display ! I have been all over the net for the last 6 weeks trying to get one for my 2001 1.8 expression , they are VERY model specific of so I am led to believe and as for part numbers it appears that renault "update " their numbers about every 3 months!!!!
so my advice would be if you can, live with it and you are not into throwing lumps of money away A/ don't go to a main dealer B / Fit a rally type battery isolation switch ( which is what I have done) and remove your radio code protection so at least you can do the battery on/off quickly with out getting dirty!!!
