Re: Grand Espace Dynamique 2.0 DCi 175 .. advice?

I changed to a 2.0dci 175 last year, a 2010 reg, very pleased with it. Hitting 40mpg on very long motorway journey at speed limits, for the past 3 months it's been pooling around town and the mpg has dropped to somewhere between 31 and 35 mpg. All in a vast improvement over the 2.0 petrol 2004 plate it replaced.
My engine has chain drive cams so don't have the worry of the belt going.
My car as the FAP fitted, check to see if the one you are considering has one fitted, if so, take at look at the relevant page in the handbook to see how to look after it and if your driving style can economically comply with its needs.
The performance figures are similar to the 3.0litre Capris, only you're shifting a bigger motor with loads more space and comfort.
Take it for a try!
