When I've done mine I've had the caliper on one pin, swung up so I can just hold with one hand and lean on with the socket and drive.... always gone though some have been harder then others.
Maybe I am a big strong man

You can get rewind tools that have a screw and reaction plate that fits in caliper. Can be a little awkward if piston fully extended but takes the pushing out of the job.
