Yep - the "Ownership problems" forum at Parkers is indeed stuffed full of negative threads about Renault. We're hoping that this forum will be a bit more positive!
The problem with the blown turbos is due to a sticking
valve. This is a known fault, but how often the problem results in a major failure is unclear. It's interesting to know that although Honest John mentions this failure on every car report for the dCi engines (across the board - not just the Scenic) in 2004 he ran a road test on the new Scenic dCi 120 and thoroughly recommended it!
