TBH, the most dangerous cars are the ones whereby speed itself isn't the problem; its lack of attention/reaction or the ability to compute when behind the wheel.

Most accidents (per mile) occur in an urban environment, and where speeds are a whole lot lower.

There are very few cars out there that would be classed as true 'supercars', and insurance is a pretty good deterrent at preventing all but the most solvent of numbskulls from getting in the driver's seat of one.
