See what the mot brings.
On what you've said, doubt it is the servo now.

When you let go of the brakes, pads/shoes retract a fraction
With auto adjustment for handbrake on rears this retraction can be restricted a touch which will cause a higher pedal/sharper response
Same if a pad or caliper is binding a touch

With drums on the back this could be marked, less so with discs but I'd still ignore servo until working end has been cleared.
