Re: hard brake pedal

UPDATE!!!..Rain Ptffft so down the side of the house the Clio goes..Mmmm tighter than previous car..find the jacking points..out with a trolley jack and up goes the passenger side front [after taking off the wheel of course ]and turns the hub outwards comes caliper and hung out of the way..out come front and rear pads which are about half warn..pads are TRW and so is the caliper..

Out comes the clips top and bottom the pads sit in wire brushed nice and shiny whips out comb to comb my hair.. clips put back and copper greased pads cleaned up and reinserted front and back the caliper ..G clamp in hand I wind back the caliper piston..and yes I did check the fluid level in the master cylinder piston action is fine no sticking caliper back in place and bolted up..13mm and 14mm spanners needed here..wheel back on and pump the brake pedal to push the caliper piston back out..repeated on the drivers side with no issues what so ever..Here it comes rain stopped play ..time for a the front brakes are fine also checked CV boots and steering rack boots all ok ..

To be continued hopefully today..
