Dunno what it is about I say, an extra bleed seems needed. But will keep fingers crossed for tomorrow for you.
My MOT guys attitude was as long as they produce required power and don't show warnings, he's happy.

Can't blame you for being wary of the electronics. If it's any consolation, the emergency assist is (on many cars anyway) a mechanical magnet gizmo in the servo that releases full power if you hammer the pedal.
