Well, the garage, Waters Renault St. Albans had not thought of draining the fuel and happily charged me £156.67 for doing so. Add this to the £157.25 for the new o2 sensor and the car has cost me £313.92. When I went to have the MOT retest done, the car passed but the warning light came on again. This was diagnosed as a Camshaft sensor fluctuation and the error reset. Possibly due to the engne revving the MOT tester did. On the way home the light has come on again!!!. I have to go back to the garage yet again for them to diagnose the fault again. This while episode is driving me absolutely insane.
Currently in cammer's garage:
