I'm having my Scenic II checked out tomorrow for uneven running particually when cold but also noticeable when hot. When cold there is a distinct lumpy running. I leave home in a 30mph limit, and holding the car at 30....approx. (whoops) it does not feel as smooth as it used to. As soon as I hit the unrestricted sign and accelerate the lumpness goes. The engine appears to be ok after that, except at times sitting at tick over a slight lumpyness can be felt.

If its a fuel problem this may solve a similar problem I had on my old Mondeo with odd 'lumpy running' generally crusing at lower speeds on occasions.

99 times out of 100 I will use Tesco fuel. I think even if no problem is found, I will not use their fuel again.
