ABS and service lights on.

Went to Fleetwood today Clio drove perfectly, got in
to go home started and ran as normal no lights, set off
and could not set off without doing a good kangaroo
impersonation, got to end of st and the ABS activated,
set off more kangaroo impersonations no speedo then
ABS and service warning lights come on,
once this happened no more kangaroo and speedo sprung back
to life. Get home and have a look under front, the clip
that holds the CV joint boot as broken and allowed the grease to cover
the abs reluctor ring, shoved some fresh
grease in the joint pushed the CV cover back and secured
with tow narrow jubilee clips end to end to
make one long one, cleaned most of the grease from
round the reluctor ring and its teeth as I backed the car
down the drive the warning lights reset themselves,
job done.

Hope this helps someone with the same problem.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.
