Our 1999 Scenic was filled at a Morrison a few days back.....luckily no ill effects as yet.
My question is does it only affect later models ?
(We got the reciepts ready)
Your car has 1 lambda sensor (Upstream). In theory this will still become contaminated. However I'm not sure if the car will suffer the same drivability issues. You may end up failing the emmisions at MOT time because the sensor is no good.
I think the later models are sufferering because they have such tight emmision laws.
The earliest vehicle we had was an 2001 Scenic - 2 litre 16v.
I have a 1996 1.6 Megane. I have Tescos fuel and have suffered no driving issues as yet. I might check my Lambda sensor readings at some point.
