Re: Would you buy another Renault ?

I just lost my mk1 phase 2 Scenic, because some nice chap decided to try getting in the car from the back (with his Ford Fusion) running fine 3 years only had normal servicing and ignition coils otherwise good as gold, I ended up getting mk3 Scenic 2010 TomTom, very happy will start servicing it next year and hope to avoid unwelcome guests.

Re: Would you buy another Renault ?

I have a 2001 scenic 1.4 16v and agree with you, even simple jobs are made difficult because everything is overlapping eachother, this is because renault use the same engines etc in many different models and make do with what theyve got IMHO... Also the use of torx bolts and strange plastic clips that snap off when touched can be infuriating. Even finding out what engine you have is a pain, it should be like
toyota which has a label in the timing cover stating engine type.
Having said that I like the car cos I can fix most things, its comfy, cheap and nobody will ever rob it haha

Not worked on the later Toyota's yet then,, they are not user friendly.
Especially the Hybrids,,

Re: Would you buy another Renault ?
