Hi i have fitted one to every car i have owned from i passed my test in 1993 for the simple reason i have owned a caravan and trailer since,i would say the trailer is on the car fare more than the van doing odd jobs carrying timber or my cement mixer or even the sh!t to the tip so i guess i will always have one, cheers Donald.
Currently in Donald's garage:
2005 Mercedes Benz C200 Classic SE Kompresser & 1998 Fiat Cinquecento Fire Sporting, some may say i could do far better?,i say i could do far worse.

I've fitted one to every car I've had, except my first. Only used to tow a small trailer for trips to the tip, DIY stuff etc.

Returned a few times in car park to find bits of someone elses number plate behind it - some people must park 'by ear'

As Tigz said, some uninsured pillock decided he wanted to turn right instead of left (where he was facing) from a junction. He reversed without checking his mirrors and duly sliced the front of the Lag open.....broken bumper, number plate and coolant everywhere

In a split second I could see it coming but couldn't reverse quick enough plus, I checked my mirror first

Currently in scatz's garage:
2004 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B, a 2013 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Sport S-Max and a 2001 Honda NSR125R
