Cannot find a fuse?

I fitted a CD player to a Renault Laguna. It's an 2001 model.

When installing the CD player I accidently touched the permenant live wire on the chassis of the stereo. There is no voltage reading on my multimeter on the permenant live wire. So I'm assuming I've blown a fuse.

I checked all the fuses on the fuse box, loacted just to the right of the steering wheel, including the few hidden ones on top of the fuse box. I've also checked the fusebox under the bonnet and cannot locate a blown fuse.

Where else should I be looking? Or shall I wire a new permanant live up to the stereo?
