To be honest with you I'm not a torque wrench type of bloke

I tighten things using feel and common sense, been doing it that way for years and I've never had a problem.

The only time I use a torque wrench is for cylinder heads etc.

BTW, it would be a major clear out in my garage if ever I had to find my torque wrench

I was looking for a torque wrench (lost my old one or it was nicked), i agree with you TTT i have never used a torque wrench other than for a head gasket but, i need a new one & wondered if anybody could recommend a decent one for about 25. Cheers.

PS. To cover the settings in the Haynes i need one that covers 8Nm - 280Nm
Think i may need 2 wrenches then
