I take it you mean the small screws that keep the disc on....if so You're not hitting them hard enough
They screws are normally countersunk so the disc is slightly higher than the head of the screw.
One method be it right or wrong is to use 2 hammers....rest the rounded end of a ball pein hammer on the screw and hit that with another hammer....don't tickle it.... hit it!
If the head is starting to round try tightening it after hitting it with the hammers to get it to move a little, then you can loosen it.
If that doesn't work you can remove them with a centre punch held at a shallow angle....using the centre punch to bite into the edge of the screw in the direction it loosens....takes a while but they do come out eventualy.
Make sure to put a dab of anti seize paste (copper slip) on the screw when refitting so it will come out easier next time.
