Audi A3 Rear brakes a bit worn.

My lad recently bought yet another new, old banger.

1998 Audi A3 1.8T.

Yes, the seller said it needs the rear brakes doing but bleedin hell.

Maybe a bit late for the old sandpaper clean up.

Had to borrow an air fed rewind tool to keep the pressure on the pistons because they were tighter than tight to turn.

Was sure the calipers wouldn't work after but they seemed ok and brakes work nicely once bedded in he says.

Mot due soon and theres a strange lack of both ABS light and airbag light on the dash.
Actually a strange lack of drivers airbag all together since someone fitted a corner shop accessory steering wheel.

Under the bonnet is a total lack of airfilter box with a fully open MAF sensor which should improve turbo life no end.

I think he must hate me.
Was thinking of getting it crushed with him in the boot.

The pads and discs are actually worse than the pics show.
