Thanks for the info. and helpful comments. I may be able to get a pressure tested and skimmed head from a local breakers yard - have to check the engine Ref. No. first.
Does anyone know of any threads on this board giving tips on replacing the cylinder head - seems a bit of a b*****r of a job from what I have read. Also need to find out what special tools are required and if there are any workarounds.
