Water sound in 04 Clio

Hi guys,

I've recently bought a Clio that I thought was in perfect condition but everytime I slow down it sounds like there is water running past me. From what I can make out it sounds like it's coming from the footwellon the right hand side under the door. Any help would be much appreciated even if it isn't a serious problem, thanks

Re: Water sound in 04 Clio

Hello and welcome to the forum.

To start with I'd check to see if the drains in the lower edge of the door are free, there should be at least two drains to allow water to escape. If this all seems OK then you need to check and see if the sill drains are clear.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
