Out of interest, I've turned up a Laguna I Phase 2 brochure, dated 1998. It lists the available colours on the back. It would appear that these were the available colours at the release of the Phase 2, although I'm sure changes were made later on.

455 Midnight Blue
369 Glacier White
763 Etruscan Red
408 Lazuli Blue
186 Barley Gold
427 Silver Blue
630 Xerus Grey
931 Ascot Green
640 Iceberg Silver
432 Monaco Blue
783 Naples Red
676 Pearl Black
472 Twilight Blue
935 Racing Green

Of the two greens, Racing Green is the vivid one, with Ascot green being more a sort of 'silver with a green tint.' The brochure does list Racing Green as a pearlescent rather than a metallic though.

Full specs and feature lists for the whole range are included too. It's a shame I can't scan it and upload it due to copyright

May be one for the knowledge base Dave, I even managed to read my plate the wrong way up and gave the wrong code but at least a list like that would give an idea
