Exterior Trim on Renault Trafic

I have a 2004 Renault Trafic van and need to remove the exterior trim that runs along the side of the van at the bottom.

Can anybody give me any pointers?? I take it its clips but wondered if there is a technique which will result in them not breaking.

Also how do you remove the exterior door handle surrounds??

Re: Exterior Trim on Renault Trafic

Hello and welcome Jay

Can't say for sure but the trim on my old Laguna came off by first pushing it backwards along the door then away, sort of a slide clip. May be the same on the Traffic. If it don't slide then you may just have to gently pull until it starts popping off You could also try removing the inner door card to see how the clips are held in place, just incase that may give a clue!

Dunno about the door handle surrounds though

Currently in scatz's garage:
2004 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B, a 2013 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Sport S-Max and a 2001 Honda NSR125R
