lol didnt think it would get me any where and they would prob want £70-£100 insp fee to say no only covers so and so  oh well that 1 more job to be added to the to do list :d

Renaults Ani -corrosion Warranty is --12 years for all Renault passenger vehicles delivered from 17th October 2000.page 8 in the Warranty and service booklet .The validation of this warranty depends on anti corrosion inspections of the body and chassis ,these must have been carried out by a Renault dealer during regular services at the milage specified and at least every 2 yrs..

lol yip hondo i was thinking that to and charge me a insp fee just to tell me that:d

They didn't charge me an inspection fee, but JC don't go into this blind, expect a right Royal procrastination of a battle.

I found the only way to win was by making so much nuisance of yourself that they get :censored: off with you, if you're willing to do that, I'd say you've got a "remote" chance of achieving success.

i know its not a hell of a lot of rust but its only about 3 year 7 months old ok there is a few dings and marks around the car because of goons in supermarket carparks etc but but the rust is where the door meets the wing end and at the bottom of the door its prob not worth all the agro prob better off with a rust killer and primer&touch up paint lol:(

I've seen that kind of damage before, caused by a misaligned panel which caused the leading edge of the door to be protruding from the rest of the panels & in the line of any debris being fired up from the wheels.

If that's the case, and you have no knowledge of the door being off/adjusted, then you may well have a claim, irrespective of the timescale, as its a fault from manufacture.

i dont have any knowledge of the door being off/adjusted, saying that i have only owned it for about 7 months, i got 1 of the lads over on megane sport that work for a dealer to see if it ever had any recall work done he said it had a window replaced and 2 window adjustments now i think the window went up to far they shut the door and pop went the window lol and got a new 1 fitted and got it adjusted 2 times but thats just a guess the door opens fine and closes fine no clicls or hitting etc so it may well be a panel out of alinment from the factory just seemd odd to go there on a car thats less than 4 years old:eek:

what i will do when i have time is have a good look front on and see if the door is sitting out abit and i will do the same with the pass side

Use a ruler at various points along the door edge to check for misalignment.

The fact that one door is showing a problem, whilst the other isn't (yet they both would've been through the same paint process at the same time, shows there is something worth investigating.
