Question Laguna II 2006 Fog Lamp access

After hitting a kangaroo the driver's side fog lamp was dislogged and mounting lugs broken off. I have a new fog lamp on the way but is difficult to tell how it is fixed to the bumper as the mounts are not very accessable. I imagine there was some type of plastic bolt but any remains of the old ones were lost as the lamp was floating around loose in the cavity behind the bumper for some time before I realised.
If any one knows the details of the mounts and if it is possible to refit a lamp withe the bumper still attached I would me most appreciative.
Otherwise details of how to remove the bumper would be handy - particually how the rubber clip holding the underside panel is removed (the screws and bolts are simple). I am presuming this will giva access to the screw(s) holding the bumper onto the mudguard panel?
Thanks in advance

Re: Laguna II 2006 Fog Lamp access

Got the same problem on my Laguna II 2005 estate, driver side fog light was broken so I had to remove it with dificulties by braking one of the lags, I can't put the new one in because the water tank is in the way, there is two fixings (screws) one I can get but the other one is facing the tank and the space is only an inch.
So still looking for answers.

Hi. I don't mind telling you how to remove the bumper as part of the question.
Firstly lift the bonnet and the front grille is removed by pressing a plastic tag to release the grille in the centre as you look down,
I used to use an open ended 17mm spanner which seemed to do the job well,
the grille should then be removed.
From underneath you will need to remove some 10mm bolts that hold the bumper trim to the subframe,
and release the side plastic quadrants by removing 1/2 20 torx screws,
a couple of black plastic mushroom clips.
Behind the inner wheel arch liners in line with the top of the bumper there is one 10mm bolt to be removed each side and then you should be able to slide the bumper forwards to release it.
I believe your vehicle will have headlamp washers,
so you may need to disconnect the washer piping at the quick release union behind the bumper,
but if you are just resting the bumper on the floor,
you can leave all connected and remove the 10mm nuts for the fog lamp in question,
release the wiring connector and swap over the unit.
I would also advise checking they work before refitting.
As long as you don't have any seized bolts etc the front bumper should take no more than 30 minutes to remove and refitting is even easier as you know how it all fits together.
Access to all of the fixings is quite easy,
just a little tricky for your first time until you realise where they are.
Not a great deal holds the front bumper on in all honesty. I hope this helps. Kind regards
