Plastic Underbonnet Soundproofing Clip

I have tried to find previous mentions of this but I don't know whether i'm looking for a slip/nut or whatever it could be called.

I have a 2008 Grand Scenic and have just noticed this evening that I am missing a plastic wingnut/clip from under the bonnet where the sound deadening is held up underneath the windscreen wipers.

It's obviously vibrated loose and has been lost but I wondered if anybody knew where I could get one without having to get a second mortgage and buy a pack from a dealer.

Hi there and welcome.

Any of these look like candidates?

An other alternative is a local breakers.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.

Re: Plastic Underbonnet Soundproofing Clip

Thanks Paul

I have tried ebay and can't find one listed there which makes me wonder if it's classed as a clip.

You actually fix it like a wing nut onto a threaded bolt fixed to the bodywork. I would use a standard nut and washer but it's not that kind of threaded bolt. Specifically designed for each other I guess.
