Renault Clio 2007 Wing Mirror Question

I was hoping someone could help me out, I'm afraid I know nothing about cars!

Unfortunately I was driving my partners 07 Clio and clipped the wing mirror, as you can see in the below photos the black part of the wing mirror is smashed.

Is it possible to replace just the black part of the wing mirror? If not and I buy a second hand complete unit from somewhere like ebay is it possible to clip off the silver bit and stick it on the new one?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

If anyone can recommend a good place to get the replacement parts I need I would be very grateful!
