rear wiper seized up.

laguna 1.9dci....any ideas,,,,,,,i aving no luck at mo,,,rear wipers stuck solid ,,,motor is fine,,its the part that goes trou the rear window

I had the same problem some months ago-itís an easy fix!!! But you will need two people, 1 to hold the tailgate glass the other to pull-twist the spindle out.
  • Carefully remove wiper arm (itís all plastic) and small circlip from top of spindle.
  • with Mole grip or similar and extra body, with glass open, get helper to hold tailgate glass as close to spindle as possible.
  • Then with Mole grip twist and pull spindle down and out, it may come out with none, 1 or 2 bush bearings on it.
  • Remove bearings carefully if on spindle-clean all parts and then apply liberal amounts of grease and re-assemble. All should now be fine.
