Senic bumper trim removal

The rear bumper corner trim is scuffed and want to replace it but how does it come off? It's the bit that has the little reflector on it. Or is it Easter to just paint it using the silver bumper paint you can get? Thanks

Re: Senic bumper trim removal

Hi there.

I think a picture is probably a good idea here. Normally these trim items are held in place with plastic lugs on the trim item itself which lock in to holes on the bumper.

These can be worked out by levering with a thin screwdriver, but I would always lever it initially from underneath (possibly using a piece of masking tape on the bumper) to protect the paint from damage.

Once you get it started at one end, it usually comes away cleanly, but use gentle persuaion - as you need it to refit after being repaired.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
