Re: Clio Drivers door

Well jobs done, reasonably straightforward.

Main difference is wiring loom, totally different plugs on them easy to swap though with only the window motor requiring the old plug splicing to new loom.

As for a how to, well theres already a good one on here for removing the mirror and card, otherwise its just unbolt retaining strap from door post, pull out pins (bugger if you dont have a proper tool, use mole grips grab the big end with the grips vertical and hit the mole grips upwards (or downwards for the top one) with a chisel as close to the pin as possible) remembering to pull off the safety circlips and unplug the loom from the A post first. Obviously make sure you have a strong assistant to support and lift the door away once pins are removed.
refit as they say is the reverse of removal, only real tip there is to use a couple of thin allen keys as temporary pins then fit the new pins one at a time (saves trying to get the pins in with the door hanging loose) and getting the plug back on the A post is a real puzzler, take off the latch, slide on the socket half way so the slots line up with the pins on the plug case then push plug in and slide latch down.
