Smile Help Please With Paint Code

Hi all please could somebody help me , i have a 03 plate megane in a metalic red colour with dark silver/gunmetal coloured bumper panels , i need the paint code for these panels ; i have seen these panels on different coloured magane 2's and laguna's , does anybody know the paintcode for them please , my local dealership knows but wont tell me as they want to do the work.

Try this site mate.

PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint (rs), Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint, Automotive Paint

the paint code is on the oval plate on your clios door (drivers side IIRC) and there was an explanation on a website with a photo but i cant find it!

Mine begins with "TEA"

As for painting you will need to prepare the plastic bumpers with scotchbrite to give it a key, then use a plastic primer (try to get the primer colour as close to the paint colour as you can, it will give you a better finish and will take less paint.

Use a 1500grit wet and dry paper to finish it off by sanding off the "Orange peel" effect, let dry and harden for at least 2 weeks before using any kind of abrasive compound, like T-cut or G3!

Go to the Renault UK webste, click find dealer, then email a few dealers by entering a few towns until a decent one will give you the information you want.
