laguna II 2001 head lamp washers

laguna 2001

hi can anyone help,

my washer bottle keeps emptying, on checking it seem that the pipes to the head lamp washers have come off.....well thats where all the water seems to becoming there any easey way to get them back on as my manual tells me that i have to take the bumper off... seems a big job for a small thing

I suspect that the bumper will need removal to allow access. (ideally with the front wheels removed to allow access to fixings via the wheelarch liners)

What you can attempt (especially if doing this on your own), is to undo 3/4 of the fixings, from one side working your way across, to see if that allows enough access, whilst the bumper still is supported.

Just be careful not to split the bumper by bending it too far or letting all its weight hang on one side.

If that allows enough access, reattach one washer, then most of the clips & repeat for the other side.

If the complete bumper needs removing, place an old carpet (or similar) under the bumper to prevent damage.
