Laguna II Rear Mudflap

Hi all

I lost the rear offside mudflap from my 2006 Laguna 1.9dci Tourer. After looking for some time I managed to find a replacement in a scrapyard but could not salvage the clamps as the small grubscrews had completely seized. Renault don't seem to be prepared to supply replacement clamps and cars with mudflaps seem to be very rare. (The car I got this one off was the first I had seen with mudflaps in six or seven scrapyards and maybe twenty cars). Does anyone know where I could get replacement clamps? I know there are universal (!) clamps available on the 'net and elsewhere, but I tried them and they were useless. I have thought about drilling the wheelarch and using small nuts and bolts, but would prefer not to do that if I can help it.

Re: Laguna II Rear Mudflap

Have serch for Ford Focus MkI mudflap clips - some are similar to the Renault type. You may be able to make them fit.
