laguna privalige mirrors

i have just got a 2.2 dci laguna privalige 2003 model my question is are both mirrors supposed to fold back. The car dealer was not sure but said if they are both meant to he would fix them as only the pasenger side folds currently

Yep, both should fold when you turn the "Joystick" switch.

Although from experience ( with Citroen & Renault) sometimes if you turn the joystick too quickly the mirrors dont fold. Just turning the switch & then back again and mirrors work fine.

As dealer has agreed to fix I would let him.

You may find a liberal dose of wd40 type stuff in and around the mechanism will free it up.
Cars left outside all the time & with the mirrors not folded regularly play up.
