front splitter removal - clio III dynamique sx

Just wonder if anyone could direct me to the best way to go about removing the splitter from my 2007 1.2t clio dynamique sx

hello and welcome to the forums

probably the best way would be to remove the entire bumper and turn it upside down (on carpet to protect the paintwork) and remove the steel staples holding it on.

do double check that it is affixed by staples before removing the bumper (on older cars they were attached in this way) it should be possible to remove the staples so they can be reused.

for refitting a new one you will need to straighten the old clips and use a heat source to heat the clips up before pushing through the plastic of the spoiler and bumper. Failing that you could use black mastik and clamps to hold it in position whilst it bonded.
