Water in rear door

I opened the rear passenger door of my 2005 Renault Laguna 1.9 Diesel for the first time since the recent heavy rain and noticed water dripping from under the door where the rubber runs along the bottom edge I removed the drain plug and about a pint of clear water came out. I assume that it got there via the rubber trim that the window slides past. Is this a simple replacement that I might tackle myself?

Re: Water in rear door

Water will find it's way into the door, via the rubber trim as you say. It's not a water tight fit.

The bung that you removed should have a hole in it to let the water out so you don't have to take the bung out each time.
