washing - during sunny days

need some advice. i wash my car once a week or sometimes once every 2 weeks. up until now weather has been bad so did not have much sun to worry about. but now the weather seems to have improved and the sun is shining. I do not have access to a shaded area. The place I wash my car is pretty much sunny throughout the day. Do i need to wait till the sun has set completely before i can wash my car? that means washing it at night LOL

i do not know why it is but from what i've been told and read online, washing in the sun is a complete NO NO specially if the car body is hot. I am guessing the car body has to also be let to cool down?

any help?

I just wash mine and not very often at that, but if you have one of those garden leaf blowers things they are very good at drying off without leaving streaks.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you have access to a hose why not spray the car first that should help cool the bodywork.
If it is still a hot day wash and rinse the car in sections - rinsing each section as you go. A final overall rinse and a dry off should give a clean finish.

If you have to.
Do it in sections so no part dries off completely in the sun.
rinse it in sections too and chamois after.
