Clio mk3 plastic scuttle cover help!...

Sorry if this question has already been posted before but I desperately need help with the Plastic scuttle cover beneath the wipers.

My Clio mk3 has a passenger footwell leak which from browsing through these forums, have discovered that the 3 drainage holes are blocked.

Now there are lots of posts on how to remove the blockages but none which explain...

How to remove the plastic scuttle cover?

The plastic screws look like a flat head screw driver should be used but I don't want to break anything.

I would really appreciate some help.

Re: Clio mk3 plastic scuttle cover help!...

Hi mrwaternoose.
All i did was undo the screw 1/4 to 1/2 a turn.
Gently lift the SCREW through the plastic washer type bit and then pull the whole unit from the scuttle cover.
If your not sure just go gently but it is a bit tight.

P.S. If your taking it right off you need to remove wipers.
