Scratches on my new car

I have a 2008 clio expression 1.2 its my first car and I only got it a month ago. The other day I stupidly wasn't paying attention and scraped it across a wall leaving scratch marks and blue paint on the car. I'm not planning on selling the car any time soon so I don't whether I should it get fixed or not, I also don't know how much it would cost? would it be worth it ?. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.

I have added a picture too

Re: Scratches on my new car

Hello and welcome.

A good mobile smart repair company like (there are others) should be able to sort that out without too much fuss and without hurting your wallet too much either I would imagine!

We have a resident expert in this very line of work who may well spot your post and offer some firmer advice.

Re: Scratches on my new car

Send a pm to the poster/moderator Velsatisfied for advice.
In the paint on your car,not the end of the all depends on how deep the scratches are..
If they cut thru the lacquer .. not woe is me either.
Its scratches that cut right thru lacquer, base paint AND primer that are the total pia...
If they cut thru to the metal you have to get some kind of antirust /primer on the same day in my experience.
If you dont, its like gangrene .a couple of months later and it could bubble thru all your repairs

The are hard to tell but,it looks like its mainly on plastic..a lil grey primer then renault touch up.
The tiny blue i see on what looks like a metal bit:clean it with a lil white spirit/similar..if there is regular body colour underneath after cleaning..a little touch up lacquer..
Might sound sexist.. hah who cares but those who have experience of painting keratin(toenails and fingernails) are often quite good at fixing up minor scrapes!

From the looks very minor.. get an acutual renault touch up kit.. dont bother with motor factor"we can make up the colour".. any I ever got were crap...wash and wipe ..perhaps a light solvent as long as it isnt thru below the primer...
The pic looks an ideal candidate for renault original touch up paint and lacquer once the foreign colours are removed.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
